Modbus Cloud Connect is the "all-in-one" product from one of the IoT world market leaders for direct connection of Modbus devices via Narrowband IoT & LTE-M to your cloud.
The Customer receives a one-time opportunity to test the grandcentrix Modbus Cloud Connect product solely in non-commercial, non-productive operation/trial use for a limited period of time of three months.
During the term of Modbus Cloud Connect trial, grandcentrix will provide the following services:
  • 2 x grandcentrix Modbus Cloud Connect Gateway (MOC-GW1)
  • 2 x grandcentrix Modbus Cloud Connect Antenna

The following different antenna versions are included:

  • 1 x "Rod Antenna with Magnetic Foot" (MOC-AN1)
  • 1 x "Flat Antenna for Adhesion" (MOC-AN2)

Access to the Self-Service Portal for the onboarding/activation as well as administration and configuration of the grandcentrix Modbus Cloud Connect Gateways and Customer's connected Modbus-RTU slave devices.

  • 1 x Cloud adapter for connection and data integration

Provision of connection services via Narrowband-IoT & LTE-M for the trial duration of 3 months duration of trial starting from day of first activation of Modbus Cloud Connect Gateway – the trial automatically ends after this 3 months period, however latest 4 months after shipment of the trial package.

Important note: The purchase of the Modbus Cloud Connect test package is only permitted for business customers, i.e. registered companies. No sale to private individuals. All other terms and conditions can be found in the General Terms and Conditions.

Data processing agreement according to Article 28 GDPRThis agreement has been comprehensively drawn up and contains all information in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO between client and grandcentrix as contractor. The processor processes personal data of the controller. The parties agree that the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular the provisions on commissioned data processing, shall apply to this agreement. The Contractor declares that it is in a position to perform the commissioned services properly in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The agreement regulates the data protection measures within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR and the rights and obligations of the client and the contractor to fulfill the data protection requirements. By concluding and purchasing the test package, the customer acknowledges the agreement on commissioned processing (DPA).
